My brush collection is pretty big and I have a few different brands represented there, but I can say pretty easily that the bulk of my brushes are from Sigma Beauty. My Sigma collection is a mixture of brushes that have been sent to me for review, brushes that I’ve gotten as Christmas presents, and brushes that I have purchased or repurchased (I have a tendency to lose/give away brushes) on my own. I haven’t met a Sigma brush that I didn’t like yet, but of all of their brushes I have 6 consistent favorites that I use with great frequency.
Sigma F55 Small Duo Fibre
There are a few different ways that I apply foundation but I especially love a look that has a more natural, skin-like finish. Other than the Beauty Blender, this brush is perfect for achieving that finish. I use the thinner bristles at the top to stipple foundation into the skin, and then swirl the base bristles over my face to really buff everything out. I reach for this one over the Beauty Blender when I’m running short on time because it makes quick work of blending!
Sigma F20 Large Powder Brush
This brush is my go to for bronzing and I use it almost every day. The bristles are really soft and fluffy, so I get a nice all-over bronzed glow instead of a contoured look. The softness of the bristles really aid well in blending the bronzer out for a more subtle look.
Sigma E06 Small Eyeliner Brush
I wrote about this on the blog before (read here) so it should not be a surprise to see it here on this list too. This brush is the perfect size to get a nice precise line and you can make your wings as big or as small as you want with it!
Sigma recently sent me a couple of their holiday kits and when I opened this one up I immediately got excited because the three brush included are three brushes I use every time I do a full eye look.
Sigma E25 Blending Brush
I have about 3 different versions of this type of brush but this one is tied for my favorite with the MAC 217. This brush is perfect for getting into the crease and outer corner of your eye with shadow and blending it out without muddying the look up. I also have been known to use blending brushes like this to blend out under eye concealer as well!
Sigma E45 Small Tapered Blending Brush
I use this brush any time I’m rocking an inner corner highlight because the pointed tip fits perfectly in that area. I also use it to smudge shadow along my lower lash line (I find the look to be less precise than when I use a pencil brush which I like) and have used it both as a spot concealer brush and a lip brush in a pinch!
Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush
I also mentioned this one in my roundup of brushes I can’t live without and it is straight up my ride or die eye brush. If I had no other eye brushes, I could still execute an eye look with this one. Long story short, Sigma E40=Bae.
All of these brushes in this set are available for individual purchase as well, but if you want all 3 you save about $9 when you purchase them together.
